LAST UPDATED: 17 SEPTEMBER 2026Â
Your privacy matters to me. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit The Sleep Chapter website, contact me, book a discovery call, enquire about or purchase sleep support, subscribe to updates, or register for an event.

The Sleep Chapter is operated by Rheannan Anderson, trading as The Sleep Chapter, based in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.

If you have any questions about this policy or how your information is handled, please contact me at sleep.chapter@outlook.com.
1. Information I Collect
The information I collect depends on how you interact with The Sleep Chapter.
Â
When you contact me or book a discovery call, I may collect your name, email address, phone number, booking details and any information you choose to include in your enquiry.
When you enquire about or receive sleep support, I may collect information about you, your child and your family that is relevant to understanding your sleep concerns and providing personalised support. This may include your child’s age, sleep routines, feeding patterns, sleep challenges, family circumstances and any health or developmental information you choose to share.
Â
When you register for an event, I may collect your name, contact details, registration information and any other details requested during the booking process. If an event requires a separate participation waiver, the information collected through that waiver is handled by [CONFIRM WHO RECEIVES AND STORES THE ACCESS PILATES / SMARTWAIVER RESPONSES].
Â
When you subscribe to my mailing list, I collect your email address and any other information you choose to provide through the subscription form.
Â
When you visit this website, Wix and its associated services may process technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as your IP address, browser or device information and information collected through cookies.
Â
I aim to collect only information that is reasonably needed for the relevant enquiry, service, event or website function.
2. How I Collect Information
I generally collect information directly from you when you:
Â
-
Complete a website contact or subscription form.
-
Book a discovery call through Calendly.
-
Contact me by email or another communication channel.
-
Complete a sleep questionnaire or provide information during a consultation.
-
Register for an event or complete an associated waiver.
Â
I may also receive information from a parent or guardian about their child for the purpose of providing sleep support.
3. Why I Use Your Information
I use personal information to:
Â
-
Respond to enquiries and communicate with you.
-
Arrange and conduct discovery calls and consultations.
-
Understand your family’s circumstances and provide sleep education and support.
-
Manage bookings, service arrangements, invoices and payments.
-
Register you for events and communicate event details or changes.
-
Send news and event updates if you have subscribed.
-
Maintain, secure and improve the operation of my website.
-
Meet applicable legal and record-keeping obligations.
Â
I do not use information you provide about your child’s sleep or health for advertising or add it to my marketing mailing list.
Â
I will not publish your name, your child’s information, a testimonial or a photograph identifying you or your child without obtaining the appropriate permission.
4. Children’s Information and Sensitive Information
The Sleep Chapter provides support to parents and caregivers, so I may receive personal information about babies and children.
Â
I ask that a parent or legal guardian provide information about a child and share only what is relevant to the support being requested.
Â
Some information shared in a sleep questionnaire or consultation may be sensitive, including health or developmental information. I use this information to understand your concerns and provide appropriate sleep education and support. I do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Â
If I need to share information with another professional, I will seek your permission unless disclosure is otherwise required or authorised by law.
Â
My website is intended for parents and caregivers, not for children to submit personal information independently. If you believe a child has submitted information without appropriate permission, please contact me.
5. Website Forms, Calendly and Other Services
I use Wix to host and operate this website and its forms.
Â
I use Calendly to arrange discovery calls. When you make a booking, Calendly processes the information you enter to schedule the appointment and send booking-related communications.
Â
I may also use other services to manage client questionnaires, consultations, records and communications:
Â
I use Microsoft Office and Google Drive to manage client communications, sleep questionnaires, consultation notes and other client records. Parent questionnaires and consultation notes are stored electronically in Google Drive. I do not keep physical client files on site.
Â
Event registrations may be managed through Wix Events. Certain events may also involve an external venue or provider, such as Access Pilates, and a separate waiver or registration process.
Â
These providers may process information under their own privacy policies. I aim to use services appropriate for the information being handled and limit the information shared with them to what is needed for their role.
6. Payments
Sleep support package payments are arranged separately following a discovery call, in accordance with the service agreement and invoice provided to you.
Â
Some events, including Mums & Bubs Pilates, require payment. The ticket price is displayed during booking. Online payments will be processed by the payment provider identified at checkout, subject to that provider’s privacy policy.
Â
I do not collect or store your full payment card details through the website.
7. Email Updates
If you subscribe to email updates, I will use your email address to send you news, resources and updates from The Sleep Chapter.
Â
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option in an email or by contacting me at sleep.chapter@outlook.com.
Â
I may also send you service-related messages, such as responses to enquiries, booking confirmations and event updates. These are separate from optional marketing emails.
8. Cookies and Website Analytics
This website uses Wix, which may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, maintain security and provide essential functionality.
Â
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Some website features may not work as intended if certain cookies are disabled.

Â
I may use Google Search Console to understand how the website appears in Google Search and identify technical or search-performance issues.

Â
I may share information with service providers where necessary to operate the website, manage bookings, deliver services, process payments or communicate with you.
These providers may include Wix, Calendly, Microsoft Office, Google Drive and the payment provider identified at checkout, where applicable.
Â
For events involving another organiser or venue, I may need to share relevant registration details with that provider, or you may be asked to provide information directly to them. I will make the relevant arrangements clear during registration.
Â
I may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.
Â
I do not share children’s sleep questionnaires or health information with advertising platforms for targeted advertising.
10. Storage, Security and Overseas Processing
I take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

Â
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Â
Â
Some of the technology providers I use may store or process information outside Australia.
11. How Long I Keep Information
I keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing services, managing bookings, responding to enquiries and meeting any applicable legal or record-keeping requirements.
Â
When information is no longer needed, I take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it, unless I am required or authorised to retain it.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy when my services, website features, technology providers or legal obligations change.
Â
