LAST UPDATED: 17 SEPTEMBER 2026Â
Welcome to The Sleep Chapter. These Terms & Conditions explain how you may use our website and provide general information about our sleep support services and events. Please read them before using the website or making a booking.
1. About The Sleep Chapter
The Sleep Chapter provides personalised, evidence-informed sleep education and support for families with babies and young children. We are based in Darwin, Northern Territory, and offer online sleep consultations to families across Australia.
Â
This website is operated by [legal business name], trading as The Sleep Chapter.

2. Using The Website
You may use this website to learn about my services, make an enquiry, book a discovery call, register for events and subscribe to updates.
Â
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to access restricted areas without permission or use its content unlawfully.
Â
I make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date.
I may update website content, service descriptions and event information when necessary.
3. Sleep Information and Medical Advice
Information on this website is provided for general educational purposes. It is not medical advice and does not replace an individual assessment by a GP, paediatrician or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Â
The Sleep Chapter provides sleep education and guidance. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. If you have concerns about your child’s breathing, feeding, growth, development or health, please seek appropriate medical advice.
Â
Parents and caregivers remain responsible for their child’s care and for deciding whether
to implement any sleep suggestions. Always follow current safe-sleep guidance and advice from your child’s healthcare professionals.
Â
Every child and family is different. We cannot guarantee a particular sleep outcome,
a specific number of hours of sleep or that sleep challenges will be resolved within a particular timeframe.
4. Discovery Calls and Sleep Support Bookings
A free discovery call is an opportunity to discuss your family’s needs and explore whether our services may be suitable for you. It is not a full sleep consultation or a personalised sleep plan.

My Sleep Support page describes our available packages, prices and general inclusions. Before purchasing a package, you will be provided with the applicable Sleep Support Service Terms & Conditions, which explain the details of your chosen service, payment, scheduling, cancellations, refunds and support period.
Â
Those service-specific terms, together with your agreed booking details, apply to your purchase. Please read them before accepting a booking or making payment.
Â
I may ask you to complete an intake questionnaire to help us understand your child’s sleep and your family’s circumstances. Please provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and let us know about any relevant health concerns.
5. Events and Workshops
The Sleep Chapter may organise or promote events such as mums groups, Mums & Bubs Pilates and workshops. Each event listing will provide the available details about its date, time, location, price and registration process.
Â
Some events may take place at third-party venues or involve other providers. Attendees may need to comply with additional venue or provider requirements, including a separate participation waiver where applicable. Any such requirements will be communicated through the relevant booking process.
Â
If an event is changed or cancelled, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees using the contact details they provided.
Â
Any event-specific payment, cancellation or refund conditions will be communicated before a paid booking is completed.
6. Prices, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on this website are in Australian dollars (AUD).
Â
Payment arrangements for sleep support packages will be provided in the relevant service agreement or invoice. Payment arrangements for paid events will be shown during the booking process.
Â
Cancellation, rescheduling and refund conditions may vary depending on the service or event. The conditions applicable to your booking will be provided before you pay.
Â
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
7. Privacy and Personal Information
When you contact us, complete a questionnaire, register for an event or subscribe to updates, we may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, contact details and information about your family or child.
Â
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored and disclosed, including where third-party booking, form or payment services are involved.
Â
Please do not use website forms for urgent medical concerns. If you or your child need urgent medical assistance, contact an appropriate emergency or healthcare service.
8. Email Updates
If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, we may email you about The Sleep Chapter’s news, services and upcoming events.
Â
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe option in those messages or by contacting us. We may still send communications necessary to respond to an enquiry or manage a booking.
